Putting art on a plate, chefs at the two-hatted restaurant are inspired by what hangs on the gallery walls. Seasonal ingredients and indigenous produce such as wattleseed, emu, finger lime and riberry are put to good use across its dishes.
Supporting and run by Aboriginal artists, Henderson Gallery is a local gem tucked just behind South Bank. The exhibited artwork, workshops, festivals and events are the main drawcards, but so too is the café. Tuck into a Kangaroo meat lasagne for lunch!
