Margaret Fulton the Musical

by Administration
A musical biography of a true Aussie legend based on her bestselling autobiography. Enjoy a feel-good Sunday with a musical comedy and lunch at Logan Entertainment Centre 21 March and celebrate a Aussie legend – Margaret Fulton.

Margaret Fulton: The Musical celebrates the life of one of Australia’s best known food writers with music, dance and comedy.
The Margaret Fulton Cookbook, with step-by step instructions, hints, tips and full-colour pictures, published in the ‘60s, was a huge success, and taught a generation how to make delicious, economical dishes for family and friends. The era of the Australian dinner party was born!

As a special treat that pays homage to Fulton, the chefs at Logan Entertainment Centre are preparing a Fulton-inspired luncheon from 12.30pm  with delicious favourites like Chicken Maryland and Sticky Date Pudding.

Chef Adam Gleaves researched the recipes from an original Margaret Fulton cookbook that was gifted to his wife’s mother on her wedding day 52 years ago.

The musical is based on Fulton’s bestselling autobiography - I Sang for My Supper: Memories of a Food Writer.

Don’t miss this delightful musical romp that follows her journey from humble beginnings to super-stardom.

Lunch starts 12.30pm with entertainment by acoustic artist Jaymee-Lee.
Musical starts 2pm. Balcony bookings do not include lunch.

Every ticket goes into the draw to win a free cooking session with LEC professional chef Adam Gleaves.
