Family foodies

by Toowoomba Region
Do you have a budding little foodie in your family? Luckily there’s a whole range of kid-friendly adventures in Toowoomba Region that are all about food and drink.

Cobb+Co Museum

The Cobb+Co Museum has an everchanging roster of exhibitions, events and family-friendly activities. There’s talks, tours, workshops and more. The great thing about Cobb+Co is that the exhibitions are often hands-on for kids to interact with. Follow a morning of exploration with a delicious morning tea of scones at the Cobb’s coffee shop. If you visit on a Saturday morning, you’ll also be able to explore the weekly farmers markets next door.

Crows Nest Soft Drinks

The Crows Nest Soft Drinks factory has been making cordials and soft drinks for over 100 years. If you love an old fashioned sarsaparilla or lemonade, you can purchase ready-to-drink bottles or a cordial to mix your own concoctions at home. The cordials can also be used to make milkshakes or to pour over ice-cream (or to make into un-kid-friendly cocktails!).

The picturesque setting offers views over the escarpment and is perfect for the whole family to enjoy together.
