With public parks left, right and centre – as well as foodie spots to stock up on supplies – Toowoomba is perhaps the perfect picnicking city (if we do say so ourselves).
Home to Toowoomba’s largest selection of cheese, Deli Delicious is a one-stop shop for picnicking supplies. As well as a huge selection of deli meats, their salad bar is full of freshly prepared quiches, savoury tarts, croissants and salads. They are also able to prepare a platter for you, but ensure you call ahead to order. And while you’re here, it would be a shame not to pick up a few bottles of locally made vinegars, oils or sauces as well.
