Located directly across the road from Laurel Bank Park, Urban Grounds Cafe is the ideal place to start your day, as they say breakfast is the most important meal! Fuel up on their brisket and chili beans, pea puree, sourdough, chorizo, chive cream, avocado and a poached egg before wandering over to Laurel Bank Park.

After you've explored Laurel Bank Park it is time to stop by the incredibly popular The Baker's Duck to grab your morning tea, a vanilla and raspberry tea cake topped with fresh berries and cream is waiting for you. The Baker's Duck is also conveniently located on the same street as the Botanic Gardens at Queens Park, so it is a great opportunity to get the tea cake as take away and enjoy it at the Botanic Gardens as a little picnic.
