Woombye Cheese Company

Woombye is situated in Queensland’s Sunshine Coast region, approximately a 1 hour drive north of Brisbane. Surrounded by beautiful agricultural and dairy country, it is the perfect place to make cheese.

Originally founded by Graeme and Karen Paynter in 2013, their range has grown to include Camembert, Triple Cream Brie, Blackall Gold Washed Rind, Woombye Ash Brie, Vintage Cheddar and of course, their indulgent Truffle Triple Cream Brie.

Today, Woombye Cheese Company is owned by Beth O’Leary who has a passion for artisan cheese. She travelled Australia with her family in 2019 doing the ‘Big Lap’ which became the ‘Big Lap of Cheese’ when they managed to visit over 30 cheesemakers across the country!
